Young Kids Bedtime Routine Checklist with Decorative Frame

9/12/2017 | Lynn Lilly
Hello, Jessica Litman here today! Anyone have young kiddos? And do you totally struggle with bedtime?? My kiddos are 3.5 and 5 years old, so bedtime can be a challenge. Mostly because my kiddos need constant reminders to complete their bedtime routines, which is why I created an easy bedtime routine checklist!
As a former teacher, I have learned that using pictures and words for young children allows them to complete tasks with minimal supervision from you, which is why this printable has both words and pictures. (More on how I organize young kiddos here!)
Then I put the printable in the Deflecto Craft Frame with some felt balls. Now we can use a dry erase marker to check off all the steps before we read books for bed!
Materials
Wool Felt Balls
Hot Glue Gun
Free Printable: Bedtime Checklist
White Board Markers
Tutorial
1. Lay out felt balls on craft frame in an arrangement you like.
2. Hot glue the wool balls onto the frame.

3. Let dry.
4. Print off Bedtime Checklist free printable.
5. Insert printable into the frame.
6. Teach kiddos how to use checklist by writing on the frame after each task is complete.
7. Wipe off marker using cloth or Kleenex!
This bedtime routine has helped make bedtime a little smoother when it comes to getting PJ’s on, brushing teeth, and going to the bathroom!
